Use the center’s appointment request form
The Bulldog Mental Wellness Center page directs students to a linked appointment request form. Navarro’s health-and-wellness page describes counseling and assessment for currently enrolled students.
Open the form through the college’s official center page and follow the instructions it displays. Keep any submission confirmation and check the contact method you provide. If you are unsure whether the request reached the office, use the center’s published contact and ask about that specific submission. Do not assume that submitting the form selects an appointment time or completes all intake tasks.

Confirm the visit format and location before traveling
Navarro says its counselors serve all college locations through in-person and virtual visits. It identifies the center itself as being in Corsicana beside Gibson Hall Student Center.
Tell the team which Navarro location you attend and which format you can use. Ask whether the confirmed appointment will be at your location, in Corsicana or virtual. If virtual, obtain the connection instructions and ask about the physical-location requirements for the visit. If in person, verify the room and travel time so a general all-campus service statement is not mistaken for a counselor being present everywhere at the same time.
Ask who receives a medication-related referral
The center’s service list includes mental-health and medication referrals. That listing does not establish a promise of campus prescribing.
If you are seeking a medication evaluation or help moving existing care, ask which receiving service handles the request. Clarify who will initiate contact and what records the receiving clinician wants. Verify its booking process and charges directly. Keep questions about medication use or changes with your treating clinician while the referral is being arranged. A referral request and an accepted appointment are distinct steps.
Use CARE reporting and advising for their separate purposes
Navarro describes the CARE Report as a way to report concern about a student. It also distinguishes personal counseling from academic advising.
If you want a counseling appointment for yourself, use the wellness appointment route. If a staff member has made a CARE report, ask what follow-up to expect rather than assuming it reserved a session. For registration or degree questions, contact academic advising separately. Keeping these requests identifiable helps each office respond to the task it owns.
- Appointment request: which form was submitted and when?
- Visit confirmation: which location or virtual instructions were supplied?
- Medication referral: which outside service is responsible for the next action?
- CARE or academic matter: which college office has that separate request?
Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
