Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management through one practice. You can start with the service you need, use both when appropriate, or ask our team to help you decide. Care is available in person in DFW and by secure video across Texas and New Mexico.

Therapy and medication do different jobs. Therapy can help you understand patterns, practice new skills and work through experiences. Psychiatric care can clarify a diagnosis, evaluate physical and medication factors and manage prescriptions when they are appropriate.
Some people need only one approach. Others benefit from both. The decision should follow your symptoms, preferences, history and response to treatment rather than a standard package.
When both services are provided at Lyte, your clinicians can share relevant treatment information with your permission. That reduces repeated explanations and helps each provider understand how the overall plan is working.

Can I receive therapy and medication management at Lyte?
Yes. Lyte offers therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Some patients use one service, while others receive therapy and medication as part of a coordinated treatment plan.
Do I need to know which service to book first?
No. Tell the scheduling team what you are experiencing and whether you are interested in therapy, medication or both. The team can help identify an appropriate first appointment without requiring you to diagnose yourself.
Will my therapist and psychiatric provider coordinate care?
When you receive both services from Lyte, your clinicians work from one care record and can coordinate your treatment with your permission and within applicable privacy requirements.
Does insurance cover both therapy and psychiatry?
Many plans include outpatient benefits for both services, but copays, deductibles and provider networks can differ. Lyte checks your benefits before the first appointment and explains the expected cost.
