Check the current-term and age requirements before scheduling
NCTC lists routine counseling appointments for students enrolled in the current semester who are at least 18. Younger students are directed toward a dual-credit coordinator, their school district or community resources.
If you are a younger dual-credit student, ask the coordinator which support route applies before choosing a counseling calendar. If your enrollment has changed, explain the change to Counseling and Wellness and ask what options remain. These are questions about the college’s service process; do not use one institution’s age rule to infer what another provider can offer.

Choose the relevant counselor contact and confirm the visit
The official page lists counselor contacts and scheduling links associated with Corinth and Gainesville.
Start from the current page and identify the campus or format you are seeking. If neither listed route clearly fits your situation, ask the office which one to use. Check the confirmation for the counselor, location and date, and ask about any advance paperwork. A campus name on a counselor listing should not replace the location instructions for your particular appointment.

Request the release form from Counseling and Wellness
NCTC describes a release form returned to Counseling and Wellness for counseling-record requests. Its published email option also calls for picture identification.
Before sending identification or records, contact the office to confirm its current approved delivery method. Ask what identification is necessary for the method you choose and where the request should go. Name the intended recipient and clarify the records being requested. If another office gave you a deadline, share that date and ask what processing information the counseling office can provide.

Keep a community appointment separate from the records task
NCTC describes community referrals for needs beyond its short-term counseling model.
If a referral and records release are both being discussed, track them as separate tasks. First confirm how to contact the receiving practice and arrange its intake. Then ask what documents it needs and coordinate the permission process with NCTC. Verify charges with the receiving practice before relying on the referral. A completed release form alone does not tell you whether that practice has accepted or scheduled an appointment.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Confirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
