Register through the university’s TimelyCare instructions
UNT Health’s counseling resources page directs students to the institutional TimelyCare link or app and says to register with a school email address. The page distinguishes scheduled counseling from other virtual services.
Begin at the university page and confirm that the account recognizes the intended institution. If access fails, describe the registration problem to the support contact without creating accounts under a different school. After access is established, check which service you are requesting. An account allows you to follow the service’s instructions; it does not mean a particular clinician or appointment has been reserved.

Ask the named referring service about virtual psychiatry
The university says TimelyCare psychiatry is available upon referral from a TimelyCare counselor or UNT Health Student Health. It separately notes that the Student Health Clinic continues to provide psychiatry services.
If a medication evaluation is your goal, ask one of those named services which assessment or referral step applies. Tell staff if you already have a clinician and are asking about continuity. Confirm which service would receive the referral and how you would know it has been accepted. Keep questions about treatment with the clinician involved; a referral request does not decide a medication plan.

Use the Student Health Clinic’s phone route for clinic appointments
UNT Health lists phone scheduling for its Student Health Clinic and places the clinic on the first floor of the Interdisciplinary Research & Education Building. The student-resources page provides the clinic’s contact details.
When calling, specify the appointment you want rather than assuming every student-health visit has the same purpose. Ask whether the clinic will arrange the requested service itself or direct you to another route. Check the current location, format and intake instructions before the visit. If your question concerns an existing virtual appointment, identify that service so it can be directed appropriately.

Keep Care Team and academic support requests distinct
The student-resources page describes Care Team support and a Person of Concern Reporting Form separately from clinical services. It also lists the Center for Academic Performance for academic consultations, study support and related resources.
Name the practical task you need help with: connecting to a resource, sorting out an academic support contact or arranging a health appointment. Ask which office owns that task and whether you should contact it directly. A concern report should not be treated as a booked counseling session. If several offices are involved, maintain separate contact notes so you know which reply will resolve each question.
Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Confirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
Questions before you arrange care
Can I assume TimelyCare registration also completes a psychiatry referral?
No. UNT Health names referral through a TimelyCare counselor or Student Health as the psychiatry step. Ask that service how the referral is arranged and confirmed.

Is the Person of Concern form the student clinic’s appointment form?
The university lists that form within Care Team resources and gives a separate phone route for clinic appointments. Choose the channel for the task you need.
