In Garland, the cards we see most are Garland ISD's TRS-ActiveCare, which BCBS TX administers, and employer plans from the plants and distribution centers along I-635 and Forest Lane, often BCBS TX or UnitedHealthcare. From central Garland it is about 30 miles: I-635 south to I-30, then west through Dallas and Grand Prairie into Arlington. Without traffic that is 40 to 50 minutes. Almost every Garland patient chooses video for follow-ups, and most choose video for the first visit too.
I work shifts. Can I do this without missing work?
Usually yes. Video visits do not need a drive, so a follow-up fits in a break or right after a shift ends. If you work at the Kraft Heinz plant or one of the warehouses along I-635, tell the front desk your rotation when you book and we will match visits to it as far as we can.

Do I have to come to Arlington to start ADHD medication?
Only for a stimulant, and only once. Our policy is that the first evaluation for a stimulant happens in person at the Pantego clinic; follow-ups can be by video. From Garland that is one 30-mile drive down I-635 and I-30. If you do not want the trip, non-stimulant ADHD medication can start by video, and the QbCheck objective test can be added later at the clinic.
If I drive to the Pantego office from Garland, where do I park?
Parking is on site at Suite 111. Leave about 50 minutes from the Firewheel or Broadway side of Garland, more during the I-30 evening rush through Dallas. Garland patients who make the drive usually do it once, for a stimulant start or to meet their provider face to face, and then switch to video.
