Yes. Dr. Akintola is board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and sees GCISD students from elementary through Grapevine High and Colleyville Heritage. We write school letters for 504 or IEP meetings when the evaluation supports one. Bring prior testing and the campus counselor's contact. If a stimulant is on the table, the first visit is in person at Pantego and the rest can be by video.
Will my airline or the airport find out I saw a psychiatrist?
No. Your records are protected by HIPAA and we do not report to employers, DFW Airport badge offices or airline medical departments. If you hold an FAA medical certificate you have your own reporting duties, and we can discuss what a treatment plan means for that before we prescribe anything. An employer EAP is a separate program and does not see our chart.
Is there parking at the Pantego clinic, and what is the drive like from Grapevine?
Parking is on site at the clinic on W Park Row Dr in Pantego, with no garage to deal with. The drive from Grapevine is SH-121 to SH-360 south, exit Park Row Dr or Division St, then west into Pantego.
